The Project Quality Plan in construction is the principle document for the Project Quality Management System and sets out the quality system practices, resources and sequence of the works to be executed during the construction project lifecycle.
The purpose of the Project Quality Plan is to satisfy the Quality Management Specification requirements and to define the Contractor Project Quality Management System to ensure and demonstrate that the process conforms to the specified requirements of the contract objectives and policy, that it has established a system of Procedures, Method Statements and Project Procedures and Inspection and Test Plans to accomplish these objectives, and that duties have been assigned with authority delegated, to ensure that these requirements are performed and standards achieved.
